Altrus provides group and family model personal care homes throughout Georgia. Altrus is also a CARF accredited provider. Since 1989, Altrus has remained committed to helping Georgians delay or avert more costly nursing home and institutional placements. Through Georgia’s Medicaid waiver programs, low income Georgians are provided with the opportunity to receive quality personal care home and host home services. All Medicaid services are monitored by Registered Nurses. All homes are licensed and regulated by the State of Georgia Healthcare Facility Regulation Division.
Our community-based services provide Georgians of all ages with the opportunity to receive quality care in a supported living home environment. This allows people to remain in the community longer and results in a better quality of life.

These living arrangements are supported through Private Pay funding, Medicaid Waiver programs such as CCSP, SOURCE, ICWP, COMP (developmentally disabled) waiver, the Veteran’s Administration and long term care insurance. Altrus can work with you to determine whether you or your family member may qualify for any of these options.
