This model of the personal care home consists of homes from 11 to 24 beds. They are smaller and more intimate than large congregate settings yet larger than the family model homes. The residents genuinely become like family and most resident families participate fully in the life at the homes.

 

The senior residential care home models are available in several communities in middle, south and coastal areas of Georgia.  Each home is managed by an experienced and capable manager who is subject to our corporate oversight. Managers are fingerprinted and record checked and ensures the same for all caregivers. Quality is measured constantly by questionnaires, family meetings, and by regular nursing visits.  Registered nurses supervise care with routine visits in each home. They supervise and review all medications, service records, menus, and document progress notes on each individual. We provide no skilled nursing services. This combination of custodial care and nursing oversight results in a home where individuals can improve and thrive. This ultimately is our goal.

 

There are multiple payment sources for a senior living home with Altrus. Private pay rates are reasonable and vary depending on location. However, for those who cannot privately pay, we offer numerous Medicaid waiver service options for placement. We uniquely serve the Community Care Services Program (CCSP) and the SOURCE program at all locations.
